Why STEP Markets is on the register
According to its website, it claims to provide trading services such as foreign exchange, stock indexes, and cryptocurrencies. It is operated by STEP Markets LLC, and the company is registered in Montenegro. Upon investigation, no matching information was found in the Capital Market Authority of Montenegro (SCMN). In essence, STEP Markets is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting it with investors’ funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds. STEP Markets appears to be a scam.
