Why Smart Invest1ng is on the register
Smart Invest1ng, at smartinvest1ng.com, uses the digit 1 in place of an i and promises a smart and secure way to invest in global markets. Its wording is the same as Trade-123, another warned site, and it offers account types but no company, licence or address. The domain was registered in January 2026. New Zealand’s Financial Markets Authority warned about it on 9 June 2026. Swapping a letter for a number is a common trick to dodge searches. Therefore, Smart Invest1ng is a scam.
If you have money with this broker
- Stop sending funds. Do not pay any further “fees”, “taxes” or “verification” charges to release a withdrawal — this is a common secondary scam.
- Preserve evidence. Save transaction IDs, wallet addresses, chat logs, and every screenshot before the account is closed.
- Report it. Notify your bank/exchange and your national financial regulator so the activity is on record.
- Get guidance. Tell us what happened and we will point you toward the right next step. We are a free public registry — we never charge any fees.
