The British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) said that MagKing is not registered to trade in, or advise on, securities or derivatives in BC and urged BC residents to exercise caution when dealing with the company:

- Preserve evidence. Save transaction IDs, wallet addresses, chat logs, and every screenshot before the account is closed.
- Report it. Notify your bank/exchange and your national financial regulator so the activity is on record.
