On 8 January 2021, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) informed investor that the website financereserve.com do not belong to an entity which has been granted an authorization for the provision of investment services:

- Preserve evidence. Save transaction IDs, wallet addresses, chat logs, and every screenshot before the account is closed.
- Report it. Notify your bank/exchange and your national financial regulator so the activity is on record.
