Why Equinox Markets is on the register

Equinox Markets is not a reliable broker for traders even though it states offers that look good to be true. Equinox Markets claims to be registered with and regulated by the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Service Authority (SVG FSA) under license number: 26854 BC 2022 (their previous purported license being 22169 BC 2012) and the US National Futures Association (NFA) with an NFA ID: 0547126. While we did find matching results to Equinox Markets in SVG FSA, it is crucial to note that the SVG FSA has explicitly stated that entities engaging in forex trading and brokerage are not licensed from this jurisdiction. Besides, when we checked in NFA, we found this broker is not under valid regulation by NFA since it is not an NFA member. “While an individual or firm may have an NFA ID number in BASIC, this alone is not indicative of NFA membership and oversight; non-Members who are exempt from CFTC registration are given NFA ID numbers for tracking purposes only”, said the NFA. What’s more, this broker shows its office address is in the United Kingdom. As per the United Kingdom law, all firms and individuals offering, promoting, or selling financial services or products in the UK have to be authorized or registered by the UK financial regulator – FCA. However, we did not find any match results to Equinox Markets in FCA. The truth is that Equinox Markets is not overseen by any regulators. That means investors’ funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.

If you have money with this broker
