Why Base Markets is on the register
Base Markets states that it is regulated by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC). However, upon searching the official FSC register using the company name Base Markets Ltd., we found no record of a licensed entity matching that name. This indicates that Base Markets is not authorized by the Mauritius FSC—or any other credible financial regulator—to offer investment or forex trading services. Therefore, Base Markets appears to be a scam.
