Reported as a scam / unregulated
Why Altragate is on the register
According to its website, it claims to be authorized and regulated in various jurisdictions. However, we did not find any matching information with the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) or the Financial Services Commission, Mauritius (the ‘FSC Mauritius’). Furthermore, we checked the regulatory number displayed on its website and found that Altragate’s website address did not match that of the company on file with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Neither did Altragate’s name match the company on file with the Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA). It’s clear that Altragate has stolen the information of compliant companies in an attempt to pass itself off as legitimate. In essence, Altragate is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting it with investors’ funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds. Altragate appears to be a scam.
