Why Open World Markets is on the register

Open World Markets, at openworldmarkets.com, is an Arabic-language broker site that claims more than 250,000 traders, 2,500 instruments and a founding date of 6 September 2013, with a $250 minimum deposit and an Islamic account. Its domain was only registered in May 2026, and it names no licence number or regulator that lists it. Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission put the site on its suspicious-websites list, published on IOSCO’s I-SCAN on 5 October 2026. Therefore, Open World Markets is a scam.

If you have money with this broker

  1. Stop sending funds. Do not pay any further “fees”, “taxes” or “verification” charges to release a withdrawal — this is a common secondary scam.
  2. Preserve evidence. Save transaction IDs, wallet addresses, chat logs, and every screenshot before the account is closed.
  3. Report it. Notify your bank/exchange and your national financial regulator so the activity is on record.
  4. Get guidance. Tell us what happened and we will point you toward the right next step. We are a free public registry — we never charge any fees.
