Why SlaTrade is on the register

SlaTrade claims to be the trading name of Standard Life Aberdeen, allegedly a UK-based global investment manager. However, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has confirmed that Standard Life Aberdeen is a clone of an FCA-authorized entity. It is evident that SlaTrade is a scam. Therefore, entrusting this broker with investors’ funds is highly risky. Investors must avoid SlaTrade at all costs.

If you have money with this broker

  1. Stop sending funds. Do not pay any further “fees”, “taxes” or “verification” charges to release a withdrawal — this is a common secondary scam.
  2. Preserve evidence. Save transaction IDs, wallet addresses, chat logs, and every screenshot before the account is closed.
  3. Report it. Notify your bank/exchange and your national financial regulator so the activity is on record.
  4. Get guidance. Tell us what happened and we will point you toward the right next step. We are a free public registry — we never charge any fees.
