Why FortuneOX is on the register

FortuneOX is a thorough scam for the following reasons. First, FortuneOX claims its registration in the Marshall Island. However, we did not find any match results to FortuneOX in the Marshall Islands Registry (IRI). Besides, IRI does neither issue licenses for forex trading nor regulate any entities that offer forex activities. Second, FortuneOX claims it has recently moved its headquarters to Singapore. However, there are no match results to FortuneOX in the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). That means this broker is not an approved broker to provide financial services in Singapore. Most importantly, FortuneOX states it has successfully acquired the license from the National Futures Association (NFA) and is fully regulated by the US ordinance. However, we did not find any match results for this broker in NFA. The regulation info this broker claimed on the website is a false statement for unsuspecting traders. FortuneOX is not overseen by any regulators. That means investors’ funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.

  1. Stop sending funds. Do not pay any further “fees”, “taxes” or “verification” charges to release a withdrawal — this is a common secondary scam.
  2. Preserve evidence. Save transaction IDs, wallet addresses, chat logs, and every screenshot before the account is closed.
  3. Report it. Notify your bank/exchange and your national financial regulator so the activity is on record.
